The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the People’s Republic of China jointly with the Chinese Center for Innovative Cooperation "One Belt, One Way" opened a representative office in Qingdao City, which will strengthen trade, economic, investment, cultural -humanitarian cooperation, as well as increasing mutual tourist flow between the two countries.
The activities of the representative office, which functions in 19 provinces of China, will also be aimed at assisting Uzbek entrepreneurs to sell services and goods in the Chinese market, strengthening Uzbek-Chinese trade and economic ties, intensifying cooperation in innovation and tourism.
In addition, one of the most important areas of representation is the sphere of education. Within the framework of the SICAS (Study in China Admission System) government program, the representation of Uzbekistan in Qingdao will cooperate with more than 600 higher educational institutions of China, which will create additional opportunities for young people of Uzbekistan interested in obtaining education in China.
At the same time, the visa office will also function in the office of the representative office. Today, the number of Chinese tourists interested in visiting Uzbekistan is rapidly growing to get acquainted with the rich cultural and historical heritage of the ancient cities of Uzbekistan.
In this regard, the opening of the Visa Center will make it easier for applicants to issue a visa and is of great importance in the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism.
During the opening of this Representative Office, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the People’s Republic of China B. Saidov noted that the establishment of the Center of Uzbekistan in Qingdao certainly promotes the activation of Uzbek-Chinese cooperation.
On the same day, a business forum of business circles of Uzbekistan and China was held. In the work of the business forum, representatives of more than 20 PRC companies from various industries, relevant departments and organizations took part.
During the forum, the participants were presented with an expanded presentation on the opportunities for conducting successful business in Uzbekistan.
